WCR 1121

21st Nov 2014:

We went to the station early and started with the proceedings. We were done pretty soon with the process without any hassles. The packing team also got a good amount of petrol out of our Bullets despite our efforts to finish it the previous day.

The train journey passed in enjoyment. We had all the time to ourselves. The co-passengers, one in Air Force and the other a Giant gave good company too. They must have also had quite a lot of fun listening to our nonsense. Zaheer was experiencing long distance travel in train for the first time and it surely turned out to be a joyful treat for him.

The WCR curse was finally lifted. If only travelling in Kerala wasn’t so painful, we would have enjoyed the Ride throughout. Tamil Nadu came as a pleasant surprise. It had made the East Coast more attractive than the West Coast. We all were glad that Dhanushkodi was added into the itinerary. The revisit to our College was a great experience. Terrain-wise this Ride offered an unusual experience. Most of our long-distance Rides have been in the hills. Looking for more unusual places to explore now for the next one.
