Chant for Behemoth

Dear Brothers of Behemoth,

Thank you so much for coming to India. Your concert was worth all the scraping and borrowing I had to do to attend it coming from Delhi. Given the earlier cancellation of the Bangalore event there was nervousness around this one too. All blown to smithereens by Behemoth.
  1. Behemoth chose to come to India in their prime. Usually in India we get mainstream bands when they get old.
  2. A limited number of tickets, 1500 did not do you justice. It was a very small venue. But Behemoth did not let that affect their performance. The show was with the same energy that would've been in a stadium. The fans felt special and would be eternally grateful to the band for it.
  3. Many fans were initially wary that given the small audience and stage, we would not be treated to the full fledged costume and corpse paint. Behemoth did not disappoint, at all. Few questions also arose whether Inferno will bless us with his presence. The entire army was there to ravage.
  4. We could feel the sonic spell that would explode as the band started to take stage. Just seeing Nergal, Orion, Seth and Inferno in the flesh waiting for their assault, we knew this performance would be the best to be witnessed. I must say, Orion looked the most vicious.
  5. The sound mix was not quite right in the beginning, for the first four tracks. I think Nergal sensed it too and got it corrected, for what followed was a blizzard of metal waves and we allowed ourselves to drown in it.
  6. To play The Satanist album in its entirety was very unexpected, that too without a pause. The tremendous rush to the head was invigorating. If that wasn't enough it was followed by a chosen few that were very appropriate, varying in pace, ending with the pinnacle, Chant for Eskathon 2000. The lust for more tracks would never have been fulfilled even if they had played all night. But absolutely no cause for complaint.
  7. After the end, another blessing came with Seth's signature plectrum. My most precious possession.
The above are just words. What I felt cannot be expressed in words. I sure hope to see you again in my country.
